Pontiac 400-455

Pontiac 400/455 V8 engine. This engine was used to power the Pontiac GTO, considered the first true “muscle car.” The Pontiac brand was owned by General Motors and had its own line of engines. Pontiac engines are still highly regarded for their performance and reliability. The block was made of a special high-strength cast iron and was capable of handling high power outputs. The 400 series in particular is widely used for engine tuning.
The project includes a Rochester 2Jet dual-barrel carburetor and its removable air filter.
As always, we designed this engine internally skeletonized for maximum realism and ease of printing. The project is rich in detail and will be accompanied by many options to tune and increase engine performance for your build.
The gearbox is not included, it is available separately.
